My Career History

It all started when I was six. I told my parents I wanted to be a Pediatrician.

At 13, I wanted to go to a high school that specialized in business. I attended Norman Thomas High School in New York City. I majored in Marketing.

At 16, I had a community leader help me with college planning. He was my inspiration for becoming a counselor

At 18

At 18, I chose marketing as a major at Johnson C. Smith University. I worked at a daycare on campus for work-study and wanted to change my major to education. I decided to stick with marketing.

At 21, I got my first job as an Advertising Assistant at Atlanta Journal and Constitution (AJC). After 11 years, I left AJC in 2000 for a better opportunity.

At 34, I got a job as a Sales Manager at Sage Software. I left there in 2003.
