Counseling Mission Statement

Counselors working together in partnership with the community to promote the development of each student's academic, social/emotional, and career potential. Through a comprehensive counseling program, counselors assist all students regardless of race, ethnic or cultural background, sexual orientation, or special needs in realizing their abilities, interests, and goals as they transition through the educational process to become successful members of society and life-long learners. Our center's specific goals are based on the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) standards and objectives; they are as follows:

Standard A: Students will acquire the skills to investigate the world of work in relation to knowledge of self and to make informed career decisions.
